Awarded the 2023 Space Scholarship, I gained both financial support for my Space Systems Engineering studies and invaluable encouragement from leaders in the aerospace sector. This recognition reinforced my motivation and connected me with a network of professionals shaping the future of space.

In 2023, I had the honor of receiving the Space Scholarship, awarded by the Fondation Ailes de France in partnership with CNES and with the support of Eutelsat. This prestigious distinction is part of the Foundation’s youth program, which aims to foster knowledge and passion for aeronautics and space, while supporting educational, scientific, and cultural projects for young people.
The Space Scholarship is intended for students under the age of 25 pursuing higher education in the space sector, with the goal of providing them with the means to fulfill their scientific ambitions. In 2023, 12 laureates were selected, each receiving €5,000 in funding to support their project or training in the field of aerospace.
For me, this scholarship was much more than financial support. It gave me a real boost of confidence and motivation, reinforcing my belief that I was on the right path. Concretely, it contributed to funding my double degree in Space Systems Engineering at the Paris Observatory (Master in Space System Engineering), and more specifically, it helped cover my rent in Paris—a particularly valuable support as I am also a grant student.
Among all the memories linked to this scholarship, one will remain unforgettable: the award ceremony at the 2022 Paris Air Show, held in the CNES chalet. I spent the day surrounded by key figures from the space sector (the Director of CNES, the CEO of Eutelsat…), met other passionate students carrying inspiring projects, and ultimately received the scholarship from the Chief of Staff of the French Air and Space Force.
This memorable and inspiring encounter marked a highlight of my academic journey. Beyond financial aid, the scholarship also provides unique support: access to a network of professionals and mentors in the space sector, ready to guide and advise us when needed.
