During a one-month internship at Turbotech, I contributed to the industrialization of regenerative-cycle turbomachines by supporting assembly, drafting work instructions, and designing a modular transport case. This hands-on experience gave me a concrete view of aerospace production challenges and strengthened both my technical and industrial methods skills.

I completed a one-month internship at Turbotech (Toussus-Le-Noble site) from January 2 to 27, 2023, within the Operations Department. Turbotech designs innovative regenerative-cycle turbomachines for light aviation (turboprop engines) and hybrid-electric architectures (55 kW and 90 kW turbogenerators). The company was in its industrialization phase: transitioning from prototypes to repeatable production was the service’s top priority.
My main role was to assist with the assembly and disassembly of turbomachines in the workshop, with three key responsibilities:
This workshop immersion gave me a concrete understanding of the technical, organizational, and human requirements of an innovative industrial environment. It was a formative experience that strengthened my technical skills and deepened my interest in projects combining engineering rigor with innovation.
